Gwendolyn Jones is a Natural Hair Practitioner, Sisterlocks Specialist, and Wholistic Hair Advocate with over five
years of experience in the hair and scalp health industry.
She is the founder of Loc’d In By Gwen, a wellness-based
practice dedicated to restoring scalp health and supporting natural hair growth through intentional, results-driven
care.
Serving Lake, Sumter, Orange, and St. Lucie Counties, Gwendolyn specializes in working with Black women
experiencing thinning hair, scalp disorders, and various forms of alopecia.
Her work goes beyond traditional hair
services—she focuses on identifying the root causes of hair and scalp issues and addressing them before they
develop into more serious conditions.
Through her expertise in Sisterlocks and her commitment to holistic care, Gwendolyn is able to recognize early signs of imbalance within the scalp, allowing her to guide her clients with
preventative strategies, education, and customized care plans.
Her approach is centered on healing, restoration, and
long-term results—not just appearance.
As a wife of 29 years, mother of three daughters, and proud grandmother, Gwendolyn brings both professional expertise and life experience into her practice.

Around every 4 to 6 weeks (depending on your new growth) we’ll refresh your locs to keep them uniform and strong. Retightening sessions maintain definition and minimize breakage.
By prioritizing self-care through regular retightenings, you ensure that your loc journey will be successful.
